The Vision and Philosophy of Master Sayadaw Ashin Ottamathara

The Foundation is the Buddha’s teaching of Generosity, Non-harming, and Mental Development,

which is its own platform, the solid, concrete Foundation for every house. Though separate, house and platform are bound together, with one aim to Give, Share, Care, Protect & Co-operate.

 

The “Thabarwa House”

is a Good Deeds House placed

on the platform of Buddhism

and built with:

Wisdom as the roof

Concentration as the floor

Morality as the walling

 

The house can be moved, not the Foundation platform. But remember, every house needs a solid platform, so it will be constructed from Project to Project, land to land, Country to Country, to Rich and Poor, Young and Old, Healthy and Sick.
